Year 3 pupils from Newcastle PS visited us on 17th December for a Christmas Fun day. This was our first day together and everyone was very excited. We started the day off with an icebreaker session when everyone introduced themselves and told us what they wanted from Santa !! We then played a game of " Change Places " which gave the children opportunities to get to know one another in a fun context.
Afterwards we broke into to groups. One group went to Mrs Mc Mullan's room for a Christmas themed play session and the other group was in the hall playing with our large equipment / toys. Breaktime was spent together to allow the children and informal setting to chat and spend time in each others company. During our second session the 2 groups swapped around. At the end of the day the children reflected on their experiences .
Everyone went home with a Christmas decoration for their tree. Check out our photos!!!
