World book day and project 500 launch.
Thursday the 3rd of March.
The school will be celebrating World Book day and the launch of Project 500 on Thursday the 3rd of March. Project 500 is a literacy based programme which is designed to increase pupils interest in reading science books. The theme for Project 500 is “A Space Odyssey”
This year on World book day we would like the pupils to come to school dressed in a space theme. This could range from aliens to space men, star wars to star trek and all else in-between.
The school council will also be judging a junk rocket competition. Pupils are to make a rocket from items they can find around the home. There will be prizes awarded on the day. Good luck!
