On Tuesday Primary 4 and 5 went on their annual Trocaire PJ beach walk. This is the sixth year of the walk….you’d think Mr Mc Veigh would have learned his lesson by now or bought some new Pyjamas but sure there you go. The children cut quite the dash in their snazzy Pjs and they were very excited about the walk. The group walked from the playing fields down to the beach where they spent some time basking in the sun, making sandcastles or playing football. The adults had a welcome break and a chocolate Hobnob. The children raised over £400 and as Van the Man was often heard to mubble and grumble…..wouldn’t it be good if it was like this all the time.
