On 27th January 2020 we proudly accepted the prestigious Catholic Education Award in recognition of our schools' excellence in promoting Pastoral Care ,Catholic ethos and the Mental Health of our pupils. St Joseph's is one of only 3 Primary schools across Down & Connor to receive the award this year . Mrs Mc Mullan , Mrs Boyd ,the Head Boy Danny and the Head Girls Katie and Molly attended the awards ceremony at St Mary's College in Belfast where they gave a speech outlining all the work done in the past year. Later this term both Mrs Mc Mullan and Mrs Boyd will be speaking at a teachers conference where they have been invited to share the good practice in our school with colleagues.
