P4/5 Shared Education: The Lights are on and everyone's at home!
The Lights are on and everyone’s at home!
Yesterday, Monday the 24th, the Primary 4 and 5 pupils took part in the Shared Education Project. The aim of the project is to bring pupils of different faiths together in a learning environment. The pupils were joined with their partner school Newcastle P.S. for a lesson on World War 2. The Main focus of the lesson was to create a Black out curtain. The Children had to test several materials to assess how useful they would be in blocking out light. The pupils had a wonderful time testing the various materials. The pupils were also aided by girls from Assumption Grammar school who kindly provided equipment and assistance. A big thank you to Mrs Mc Veigh for bringing these wonderful helpers along. Everyone had a wonderful day and enjoyed learning together!
