Celebrating Safer Internet Day 2025!
Our school proudly participated in Safer Internet Day 2025, focusing on the critical theme of recognising scams online. Children from Key Stage 2 engaged in insightful discussions and activities designed to empower them with knowledge and awareness.
During the sessions, our pupils learned to identify the tell-tale signs of online scams, such as suspicious emails, misleading websites, and too-good-to-be-true offers. They also explored the importance of verifying sources and looking for red flags like poor spelling and grammar.
Teachers guided interactive workshop sessions where children shared personal experiences and practiced identifying potential threats through role-playing exercises. This hands-on approach ensured that our students left the sessions feeling more confident and prepared to navigate the digital world safely.
