Making Pancakes in P6/7
This half term P6/7 have been focusing on instructional writing. As part of our learning, we decided to write a set of instructions on how to make yummy pancakes and crepes on Pancake Tuesday. What a fun way to motivate and engage our learning! Of course, we had to make and eat them first, and this turned out to be a lot of fun!!
The children really enjoyed making the pancakes and crepes and choosing which topping they were going to have – nutella, lemon, sugar, maple syrup, toffee sauce. Nutella was a very popular choice!!
Take a look at us making pancakes below and perhaps you could help at home by practising writing different sets of instructions.
