P4-7 visit the 'Door of Mercy'
Many thanks to Fr Fleck for hosting the P4-7 children on a visit to the 'Holy Door of Mercy' in St.Patrick's, Belfast. Fr Fleck explained how this has been a very special year in the Church and told us how we can show mercy to other people e.g. by giving food to the hungry, visiting the sick, donating clothes to those who need them and praying for others, especially refugees.
After passing through the door the children enjoyed a tour of the beautiful Church which is over 200 years old! The children were presented with special year of Mercy rosary beads, which were blessed by Fr Fleck and they all enjoyed a snack which was kindly provided by St.Peter's.
What a lovely day !
