NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe Assembly
25th May 2018
The NSPCC volunteers Carmel and Micheal visited school to deliver an assembly on 'Speak out, Stay safe programme.' This interactive assembly taught children about safeguarding in a lively, interactive and memorable way.
With the help of their mascot Buddy, the child-friendly, interactive assembly and workshops help children:
- understand abuse in all its forms and recognise the signs
- know how to protect themselves
- Pupils are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or to Childline
The children present the NSPCC with a cheque for £100 raised from out Funky Hair Day.
