P6 and 7 children enjoyed a trip finding out about life for servants and other staff in Castleward. They had a tour of the 'Big House' visiting the kitchen, rooms, dairy and laundry. Children had the opportunity to carry out some of the jobs such as polishing shoes, washing laundry, making butter and lots more.....they are all looking forward to getting a job in Castleward soon, after all the pay is good.....1p per hour!!
