The new school council got together for their first official meeting. The debate was heated as the council thrashed out the roles. When the dust settled Tyler was appointed chairperson with Kiaya as vice chair, Laura Leigh was voted as secretary and the kitty now rests in the safe hands of Geraldine. The role of head of communications went to Darragh.
first item on the agenda was organising the new school council pins. The girls wanted red, the boys wanted blue, Mr Mc Veigh wanted whatever was cheapest.
The council also discussed fleshing up the “Daily mile” and various money making schemes !
With this council in charge, I know we are going to see some great improvements to our school life this year.
