Dear Parents / Guardians
After careful consideration , the Board of Governors with its duty of care to all in our school community have decided that the school will remain closed until 23rd March. We will transfer 2 Optional Closure days and 1 School Development Day from our May holidays to 18th-20th March to facilitate this closure. Staff will attend school on Wednesday 18th March to prepare pupil home learning packs for all pupils for the time ahead when we will all be in isolation. The relevant bodies have been informed of this necessary decision as we endeavour collectively to curtail the spread of this deadly virus among our school community and in particular pupils , staff , parents & grandparents who are at high risk . We urge you all to continue to follow the guidelines re Covid-19 , look after loved ones - especially the vulnerable and try to isolate your family as much as possible over the coming days. The situation is changing rapidly on a daily basis and therefore we will continue to keep close contact with you.
