Halloween
We had an Autumn Assembly on 30th October. P1 were dressed in their Halloween costumes and enjoyed telling us all about ‘Harry the Hedgehog’ and showing us their lovely pictures of Autumn. P2 and P3 recited a poem about a ‘Fat orange pumpkin’ and sang and danced to a skeleton song. Mr McVeigh’s class shared their Harvest Thanksgiving Prayers with everyone.
We finished the morning with a cake sale and a cup of tea for parents.
Two cakes were raffled, Eimhear and James were the lucky winners.
Many thanks to everyone who sent in buns and made cakes. The total raised for school funds was £188.
A special thank you goes to Wilma for her amazing ‘Trick or Treat’ cake.
