GAA Tournament
What a fantastic day at our local GAA pitch as we hosted East Down Small Schools GAA tournament!
We were thrilled to welcome 7 schools, each showing incredible sportsmanship and talent. After some fierce matches, Sacred Heart Dundrum and ourselves battled it out in the final. In the end, Sacred Heart emerged victorious, winning the Damien McCashin Shield!
Huge thanks to all the schools who took part, and a special shoutout to the amazing helpers who made it all possible! Thank you, Harry and Patrick Doherty for preparing the pitches, James Magennis for refereeing, and the club for the yummy refreshments. And let's give a big round of applause to Connor Laverty for officiating the final match and presenting the shield to the winning team.
A truly memorable day filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit!
