Today we had a visit from a local firefighter Ian. Ian spoke to the children about the importance of fire safety. He talked about how we can keep safe using the word STOP!
S - smoke alarm T - test O - obvious dangers P - plan
We talked about the importance of having a working smoke alarm. How to test the alarm, the objects in our homes that can cause a fire and that we need a plan of action if there was a fire. Thank you Ian, for visiting our school and for the wonderful Safety Team pack.
