The amazing P4 and P5 have been busy this week in the beautiful sunshine, collecting rubbish from our school playground. In our fantastic outdoor classroom the children were able to sort the litter into three categories. What can we reuse, recycle and put to general rubbish.
The children have been looking at the affect of pollution in our oceans and found out that over 1 million tonne of plastic goes into our oceans every year!
Once we had sorted the litter found in our playground we were not surprised to see that most of the litter was made from plastic!
